This year, the Ozeki Annual Ranchu Show (OARS) was held in a newly renovated venue in Telok Ayer Hong Lim Green Community Centre.

It was the ideal venue for the show as it provided partial shading in the outdoor while at the same time, allowing natural lighting to show the true colours of the ranchus. The advantage of the seemingly solitude venue also sieves out curious shoppers and onlookers from ranchu hobbyists, providing a better view of the show exhibits.

About 80 ranchus participated in the competition. Eventually, only the best 10 oyas, 25 nisais and 25 tosais were displayed in the show basin.

We would like to thank the management and Youth Executive Committee of Telok Ayer Hong Lim Green Community Centre for their very keen support and help in making this event a great success.
