I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Hard to believe living in Florida it did not rain.

It all started at 10:00 am. Jeff and I wanted to get there early so we could find good parking. I bought my George Strait Concert T-shirt, and hat. 11:00 the gates opened up to Strait Land. We walked around checking everything out. It was pretty fun. They had fair rides and boothes set up all around. Places to try and win back stage passes to meet George. Unfortunately I was not a winner, but the chance to even try was exciting enough for me.

We decided to walk in the stadium to check out our seats. We were right smack in the middle 7 seats back from the stage. Looking around at how huge the stadium was I could not believe how close we were.
Like I said it was a warm day, so we walked back up and sat in the shade for a while, and walked around Strait Land some more, we missed Asleep at the Wheel, but walked back down for Lila McCann. We were supposed to meet some friends so while looking for them missed Lee Ann Womack. I did not want to miss anymore so we came back into the stadium and sat tight for Aaron Tippin. He came out as the nut he is wearing a bath robe and slippers. He put on a really fun show. Then it was time for Faith Hill. She could not have been anymore graceful. Her show was wonderful, and we met Grace. What a beautiful baby. Then came Tim MaGraw. Another outstanding show, and then Faith came out and they did their duet together. Just as touching as their video together.

10 hours had passed and now it was time!!!
My heart was pounding and I was shaking. First out was the Ace and the Hole Band. I was going crazy. Then walking out in an off white shirt, black hat and famous wrangler jeans there he was... I was jumping up and down like a little girl. Screaming my head off. I had never dreamed I would see him so close. He came out singing "Take Me Back to Tulsa". I went absolutly crazy when he sang one of my favorites. "Milk Cow Blues" I prayed he would and sure enough.. Also "Blue Clear Sky" Mine and Jessica's song. I can't sit here and tell you every one because sad to say I was just so excited I can't remember, but know I sang along to everyone. I was snapping pictures left and right, but sad to say, they did not turn out very well at all. I wanted to cry. It was just too dark, and I was not close enough. The bottom line is he put on an AWESOME show. That is not even the word for it. You can never put his shows into words, just amazing!!!

I did scan my pictures if you would like to look. Just know they are not that great,
but I did try, and wanted to share with all of you, my friends.

Here I am in front of the Big Justin Boot Float.

And here I am with the wrangler float.

Here is a great shot of the front of the Semi Truck.

And here are my pictures of George that did not turn out very well, but I had to have something to show for.

George two.

George three.

George four.

And to end a perfect evening after George left the stage. The Ace and the Hole came back out to pack up their stuff. I went to the stage and asked Mike Daily for an Autograph. He was so very nice about it, and came right over. I was so excited. He said thanks for coming to the show, and shook my husbands hand. Jeff was very excited about that as well.
HERE IT IS!

Thank you very much Mike Daily!!!

They had this in a glass case in a tent at Strait Land.
