Hot Mulled Cider

This Cider is great for the simple feast or for the Grand Rite of Bringing Down the Moon. When preparing for a Wedding or vow renewal, I would recomend using a fresh, non-fermented bevarage, to represent the new beginning.
1/2 cup brown sugar1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon salt3 inch stick cinnamon
2 qts. ciderOrange slices
1 teaspoon whole allspice
combine
brown sugar, salt, and cider.
tie spices in small piece of cheesecloth:
add.

Slowly bring to boil and simmer covered for 20 minutes. Remove spices. Best Served hot. Float clove studded orange slices on top.

May serve 10.
