Opening act: Lefty, Ment, Bif Naked
Entourage: Bill, Tim, Amy
So we saw the Urge tonite. They were really good. The
bad part was sitting through the four opening acts though.
Lefty, this one hit radio band came on, they totally
unimpressed me, they looked like gay porno stars. (You
had to be there to see why i say that.) Then Ment came on.
At one point in time, the singer asked, "You guys are
here to see the urge right? Why don't you go crazy like
you would for them?" I just wanted to slap him and tell
him that his band sounds like everyother goddamn rip off
Blink 182/Green Day band so just give it up all already.
At least if they sounded a bit original, I would have
given them some credit. But they didn't. This whiny
No Doubt wannabe band came on, Bif Naked, it was so bad we went
outside. We came back and waited for The Urge to come on.
But it much have been training night for the soundboard
guys. It took at least 30-45 mins between each band. I
sat on the floor and took a nap. Yes, I fell asleep in a
bar on the floor.
The Urge came on and rocked the housr. They played a solid hour long set. They play material off all of their albums and played a bunch new songs as well.
