We got to Lost Horizon and we were promptly frisked. It was the first time I've been frisked outside of NYC for a show. There was a good turn out for people from Cortland, I think in part due to my concert calendar in The Dragon Chronicle. The leader singer for the first band looked like Scott Weiland of STP and the second band blew fire... big deal.
Now the main reason why we went... the Pilfers! A very cool show. The Pilfers were in top form for the show. They played "Kawaii" by special request. They hardly play it live. Everyone was in good spirits. (Minus me who was pissed off by the morons in the front of stage.) Nick busted a foot switch for his amp and borrowed one from Short Round. He then popped a string. Coolie made a little circle and had everyone dancing for "What's New". He was in the audience for a couple of other songs too; "Legal Shot" and "Why". Coolie spent most of the night dance with this girl Sarah in the front of the stage. I think he had a thing for her, or for her... tits... hehe. Coolie was dancing behind her and offered other guys to dance with her but no one would.
