Where to start... First off, I'm not a Dylan or Natalie Merchant fan. My girlfriend wanted to go. I didn't think I was going to enjoy it that much, but it was alright.

Natalie Merchant came and she was singing with monotone, Jeania Garofalo voice. It didn't hit me that big. She was talking in the middle of her own songs. She pointed out either some taper or someone with a laser light to security. When some people got on stage to dance, she freaked out when some guy grabbed her to dance with him, she then walked off stage, and came on to do one more song and called it a night. She performed only ten songs, the only good thing about her performance was the she did a great version of David Bowie's, "Space Oddity." I would never buy an album of hers and would never see her again unless under gunpoint.

Dylan came and he was Dylan... He performed a bunch off songs off his new album, which most people weren't to happy about. They wanted to hear the older stuff. People were walking out during the middle of the show cause he keep playing his newer songs! He finally performed, "Tangled up in Blues" and a couple others and he closed the evening with some Carl Perkins song.

Overall, I was surprised with Dylan performance. I've heard that his shows are sometimes good and sometimes bad, mostly depending on his voice. He gave a solid performance, but it was a bit short, performing for just a bit over an hour, I don't think the tickets were worth the $30 a pop.
