Launch of No Pasaran!
Held in the new Premier Inn hotel, in Waring Street, Belfast, there was a crowd of about 50 present for the formal launch of the Trades Council pamphlet, written by Ciaran Crossey.
Lynda Walker made a point at the start of the meeting that this was an appropriate venue as the site the new hotel was one was previously occupied as the offices of Belfast and District Trades Union Council.
Kevin Doherty, secretary of both the Trades Union Council and the IBCC chaired the event and speakers included Ciaran Crossey and John Grey.
Among those present were members of several veterans families, the Boyds, Doran, O'Riordan and Hyndman families.
