"Hannibal!! We've got to have help! I can't take it anymore! Can't you
call
Maggie?" Face pleaded in a desperate voice.

Hannibal winced as he heard B.A.'s weak voice start singing the Barney song
off
key. The only thing worse was when Murdock joined in. As the solo became a
duet, Hannibal gave in. "You're right. I can handle the flu, and I can
handle the delirium and the fever, but if I have to listen to those two sing
the Barney song all night again, I just might have to shoot them."

A short while later, Hannibal returned from the pharmacy armed with a
prescription Maggie had called in for him. Soon after, quiet reigned as
B.A. and Murdock slept peacefully under the sedatives influence. Face and
Hannibal grinned victoriously at each other, sorry they hadn't called
sooner.
When suddenly a
voice boomed out from the bedroom, "Iceberg ahead!"

Hannibal stared at Face in disbelief. Both men feigned deafness as Murdock
continued to scream, "Iceberg ahead!"

Face finally got up and walked reluctantly into the bedroom. Murdock was
standing
on top of the nightstand, peering out the window, frantic with fear.

"Murdock! Come down from there!"

"But…"

"Now!"

Slowly Murdock climbed down.

"What do you think you're doing?" Face demanded.

"We were just playing Titanic. I'm the lookout. I get to spot the iceberg
before it hits the Titanic."

"What's B.A.?"

Murdock glanced at the sleeping man, "He's the radio operator."

Face groaned. "It's too late to play now. Get back to bed."

A weak, flushed and feverish Murdock reluctantly agreed as Face tenderly
tucked him in.

Quiet reigned once more as Face lay sprawled out on the couch and Hannibal
stretched out on the recliner. Both men were just starting to relax when
they
heard movement in the bedroom. Although curious, neither man made a move to
discover the cause. Suddenly there was dead quiet and Murdock emerged from
the bedroom wrapped in a sheet, toga style, over his pajamas, waving a laser
pen
around like a miniature flashlight. He had used a black magic marker to
draw
round glasses on his face, and wore a lampshade atop his head.

Face slapped his knee in exasperation. "Okay, I give. Who are you?"

"I am Diogenes, searching for an honest man." Murdock replied, than laughed
uproariously
.
Hannibal calmly poured two tablets of the prescription Maggie had sent into
Face's
hand and two into his own hand. Both men swallowed them quickly, never
hesitating.

Murdock stood, patiently as the two men fell into a deep slumber. Finally,
as
he slipped off the sheet and the lampshade, he peered down at his two
sleeping
friends
and in a near perfect imitation he said, "Oh, McGoo, You've done it again!"
