Denis McLoughlin the Master of Light & Shade.

Long time McLoughlin fan, Francis Hertzberg has penned a book about Mr. McLoughlin. Based on a great deal of research, Hertzberg presents the first book-length study of McLoughlin's career in illustration, Denis McLoughlin: The Master of Light & Shade. This publication (Gryphon Books) is available from the author in three editions. I have a copy of the signed limited edition trade paperback which is perfect bound with a color dust jacket, true to the earliest of vintage paperbacks. The cover (see the scan above) is by Denis McLoughlin and is taken from the T.V. Boardman paperback Lady, That's My Skull.
