26, 2007: This year’s official Thomas Anders Fan Party took place on January
6 in Koblenz. Among the news Thomas shared with the fans during the party:
·
Thomas is discussing with his record label if
releasing a DVD with live footage from a concert he gave in Belarus may be
possible (depending on legal and business issues that still need to be
resolved).

ideas for the sound of the new album yet.
·
There will be no additional seasons of the TV show
“Formel Eins” that is co-hosted by Thomas Anders.
·
There will definitely not be a second Modern Talking
comeback.
Part of the party was a mini concert featuring the
following songs:
·
Medley: Sweet Life, I Write The Songs, Just
Dream
·
Sunday Father
·
Looks Like We Made It

December 15, 2006: Dieter Bohlen, his current
girl friend Carina, and his household staff have become the victims of a
break-in and hostage situation at Dieter Bohlen’s house earlier this week.
Two armed perpetrators forced Dieter Bohlen’s gardener to knock on the door
to the house, so that the housekeeper would open the door. Once in the house,
the perpetrators tied up Dieter Bohlen, his girl friend and his staff,
threatened to kill all of them, and forced Dieter to open his safe, which
contained about euro 60.000 (est. US$80,000). While Dieter Bohlen normally
does not have this much money at home, he had planned to buy a car for his
son for his 18th birthday with this money. The perpetrators
demanded more money and threatened to kill Dieter, unless he would accompany
one of them to the bank to get more money, while the other one would stay
behind with the other hostages.
Dieter Bohlen advised the perpetrators that his house is
under video surveillance by the police, which made the perpetrators upset and
more aggressive. When, the perpetrators stepped outside of the house with
Dieter Bohlen, he somehow managed to break free and run for the police
without being caught. When Dieter returned with the police, the perpetrators
had run away. Fortunately, none of the hostages suffered any physical harm.
However, Dieter Bohlen and his girl friend have not returned to the house
since, having difficulties dealing with the emotional after-effects of the
traumatic situation. The police is investigating.
