This page is dedicated to a type of character which may be verging on an archetype, that of the jungle girl. I know that the idea of jungle girls has long held a fascination for me. I won't go into a deep analysis of this, though I'm certain the fact that the typical jungle girl is a nubile female with scant animal skins for clothing plays a role. Another factor is certainly the attraction of the jungle perils frequently encountered by such characters, something doubtless shared by the Tarzan fans out there. However, for my money, I'd rather watch an attractive woman running around the jungle than a guy, but to each his/her own.

These pages will feature images of jungle girls, from film and comics. If anyone has any they would like to share, please pass them along. The more the merrier. In fact, the majority of the images on these pages have been donated by others who came across this page.

I will also feature my own jungle girl, Sylla, on these pages. I created her several years ago, and have written numerous short stories featuring her (3 of which have been published) as well as an unpublished novel. Along with artist Pete Boggs, I created a comic book of her as well, which we hope to market, and I have also made a video on this character which is available.
