Dear Brandon,
There are so many things that we wish we could say.
There are so many things that we wish we didn't say.
There are so many things we wish we could do.
There are so many things that we can no longer do.
We live every day knowing how precious life is,
but not able to change the past.
Oh to hear your laugh, oh to hear you yell.
Oh to hug you and feel your golden hair through our fingers.
No one will ever know how much you meant to us.
Even though you were only 13, you taught us so much.
To Give, To Love, To Hope and Now To Cry and To Grieve.
You made such an impact on those who didn't even know you.
Your poems and stories of Harvey
the Wonder Hamster will live forever
with your friends and family.
With smiles on our face we remember the moments on your life.
With a sadness in our heart, we remember how much we have lost.
For those who have love and lost truly appreciate life.
How sad that we understand what the gift of life is
only after a tragedy strikes.
This is a lesson that should not be learned by anyone.
