Harmful animal products can be found anywhere, even in nature. The companies that make them often do not become aware of the dangers until after a creature has been hurt. Nevertheless, it is very important that you do NOT use the new pot scrubbers. They contain some sort of fungi and the company is aware of this. They placed a small disclosure on the package. I would rather they not produce them or work on a new improved HARMLESS scrubber.
NEW - we now have learned that Febreeze contains harmful ingredients also.
Another harmful product is the very large cat condo's. They combine different levels with perches. One cat fell and passed over the rainbow bridge from the accident. They need to be clamped in place. More information and a page dedicated to the cat that crossed the bridge is at Oreo's Memorial. Mysty prefers cuddling in her parent's bed or her favorite nap spot, but when she was young would climb anywhere.
Flea Collars should be taken off, when we go to the beach! Salt water on these collars can cause or result in serious or even fatal reactions!
Please don't throw that salt over your shoulder around cats!! Salt has been reported to be harmful to felines.

Most dogs know that chocolate can be harmful to dogs. Cinnamon, garlic, chives and onions also have been reported as causing dog deaths! The smaller the size of the animal, the more harm can be done!
Too many human children have died because of being left alone in vehicles for more than a second! We implore every being not to do this knowing most animal caretakers would never allow this to occur though. The temperature inside a parked vehicle can rise quickly to over one hundred degrees. Please never leave an animal or youngster unattended ever, thank you.
A site we discovered is the Wisconsin Cat Club. The club has a hotline to help with crabby cats and a daily mailing list with cat tips. If you have trouble with two cats, they recommend separating them for a couple of days, then gradually reintroducing them in each other's lives.

Please remember not to spray toxic insecticides where we roam. Did you know that regular dishwashing liquid can keep bugs off many plants?

Would someone please tell my sister, the d*g, that when the phone or doorbell rings, it is not a signal to play "chase the cat!"
That smarty cat, my sisfur, does that little jump/chase act, then jumps high on a counter so I can't reach her. Like she really doesn't want to play a game!!
