When many people think about a doberman, they perceive a blood thirsty vicious nightmare right out of a horror movie. But the truth is, we are one of the most lovable, intelligent and understanding breeds in all of Dogdom.

If you'd ask my owner, she'd tell you I'm quite a pain in the neck. A dog without a purpose in life who'd give up just about anything for a nice juicy bone, A frenzied nut who has a weakness for barking his head off at anything remotely canine. Hey! someone tell her I'm just doing my job and the sole objective of my existence is not bursting eardrums in the neighbourhood.:o)

My hobbies include watching TV, sneaking up behind people, chewing my rubber ball, tearing up the morning newspaper before anyone else can get their hands on it, playing with my best friend 'Rex'(A real fun two year old boxer), sitting on the couch-till someone comes along and shoos me off it, Running away with anything that fits into my mouth and hiding under the puter table.

A DOG'S PRAYER

Treat me kindly my beloved friend,
For no heart in all the world is more greatful for kindness than mine.
Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hands
between blows,
Your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me.
Speak to me often for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must
know
by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footsteps fall upon my waiting
ear.
Keep my pan filled with water
for I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
And, my friend, when I am very old, and no longer enjoy good health, hearing
and sight,
Do not make heroic efforts to keep me going.
I shall leave this earth knowing,
with the last breath that I draw,
that my fate was always safest
in YOUR hands. . .
I will ALWAYS be YOUR "best friend". . .
