Welcome! This is the homepage for NewfieRing. Started in Jan. of 1997, to promote Newfoundland and Labrador Websites and their authors.

NewfieRing contains Newfoundland and Labrador homepages around the web, all linked together in a circular fashion. From any NewfieRing site one can click on a Next Site button to reach the next page in the ring. Continually doing so would eventually bring you back to where you started, after navigating the entire ring. One can also jump over the next site to the following page or get a list of the next five pages, allowing one to continue in the ring when a page or system is unreachable.

Using the ring is quite simple. Simply clicking on the "next" graphic (found on every page in the ring) will send you on to the next page in the ring. Joining the ring is also relatively simple!!

Once you have filled out the form you will recieve an ID NUMBER via e-mail immediatly. Along with the ID# you will need to download this HTML CODE and unzip it, then follow the instructions provided for the NewfieRing which should be be placed on your page as soon as possible. Sites without the HTML code on their page will be removed from the ring database and placed in quere after 3 days. This is how the code will look on your page
