• Gendex - millions of names in this database of html pages, free searching.
• Genserv - a subscription service, relatively inexpensive.
• Kindred Konnections - another database.
• Southern families search - millions of names in this database, free searching.
• Yates database - over 1 million names, free search gives you names, birth, death, marriage dates and states, where available. You can also buy family group sheets.
• US Genweb - the best worldwide genealogy network! Has sites for each US state, and many US counties.
• THE LDS/Mormon IGI index - and more indices. FREE searching.
• All Census - WOW! Census images on CD ROM. $10-15 per county. They don't have all of them but look anyway to see what they have. NOTE: census handwriting can be hard to read, whether it is on microfilm or CDROM.
• Worldconnect at Rootsweb - Database of over 15 million names from 5000+ GEDCOMS.
