This web site began as a collection of photographs and stories that friends and family could visit to meet Hazel & Saturn.

As visitors began to ask questions about pet rabbits, and make suggestions for the site, "The Briar Patch" has expanded. Although I am not a vet, I am able to offer over 7 years of experience and research into rabbit care to site visitors.

This is a personal web site, and I am solely responsible for all text, graphic, and other content. With the exception, of course, of the advertising banners at the top of pages, link graphics which refer back to their respective owners' pages, and conversations which take place in the chat room.

I can not be held accountable for how visitors choose to use the information contained within this web site. The best source of specific medical and nutritional advice for your pet rabbit is a vet specializing in small or exotic pets. Please consult your rabbit's vet when establishing or changing a health care routine for your pet.

Recently, I have become aware of another organization with the name "The Briar Patch." My web site is not associated with this, or any other, organization.
