In Loving Memory

Leah Grace Strickland

February 14, 1998 - February 14, 1998

10 years of praying and waiting, hoping that one day we would be blessed to hold our baby in our arms...

We held you for 23 minutes, your entire lifetime...

Daddy and I watched our precious Little Leah go silently to sleep forever. All you knew was our love and then you where in the arms of Jesus.

Waiting Until the Day We Can Hold You In Our Arms Again,

Love,

Daddy & Mommy

Raindrops

Raindrops on my window
But the sun is shining bright
Tap,tap,tap.. I hear them fall
But not a dark rain cloud in site.

Tap,tap,tap..I hear them fall
Tap,tap.tap...they go
Tap,tap,tap..Is it raining outside?
Or is it the teardrops in my soul?

It seems like it's been raining
Forever and a day.
The first raindrops started falling
The night my baby slipped away.

One by one ..I hear them fall
One by one..they go.
One by one..Is it raining outside?
Or is it the teardrops in my soul?

Setting here longing for her
The raindrops keep falling down.
Harder and harder I hear them fall
But they never reach the ground.

Day by day..I hear them fall
Day by day..they go
Day by day..Is it raining outside?
Or is it the teardrops in my soul?

The rain pounds out a melody
It tatters out her name
With each raindrop that's falling
My heart swells up with pain.

Week by week..I hear them fall
Week by week.. they go
Week by week..Is it raining outside?
Or is it the teardrops in my soul?

The heart it knows no boundary's
When it's broke the pains intense
It's aching for my baby
That I long to hold and miss.

Month by month..I hear them fall
Month by month..they go
Month by month.. Is it raining outside?
Or is it the teardrops in my soul?

A Visitor From Heaven

By Twilla Paris

A visitor from heaven
If only for awhile
A gift of love to be returned
We think of you and smile

A visitor from heaven
Accompanied by grace
Reminding of a better love
And of a better place

With aching hearts and empty arms
We send you with a name
It hurts so much to let you go
But we're so glad you came
We're so glad you came

A visitor from heaven
If only for a day
We thank Him for the time He gave
And now it's time to say

We trust you to the Fathers love
And to His tender care
Held in the everlasting arms
And we're so glad you're there
We're so glad you're there

With breaking hearts and open hands
We send you with a name
It hurts so much to let you go
But we're so glad you came
We're so glad you came
