In Loving Memory

Amy Lynn Walden Moffitt

Jan 23, 1972 - Sept 10, 1998

My dearest friend Amy,

We didn't have much time on this earth together. You were so sure that I wouldn't want you as my friend because you were already sick. I want you to know that I don't regret one moment. Every second with you was a blessing and will be a cherished memory. I will never forget how we laughed together so hard that I had to remind you to breathe. Or how I kept trying to get you to shut up when you sang along to all the songs of "The Little Mermaid" when we went to see it in the theater. I still can't believe you knew all the words. I'm glad I didn't give up the chance to know you. My life is forever changed for having known you. I just wish I had met you earlier or you had stayed here with us longer. But in the short time we did have, you became such a strong part of my life. From this day forward, you will continue to live within my heart. I will miss your "attitude." I will miss your beautiful blue eyes. I will miss your smile. I will miss your hug hello and your hug goodbye. I will miss YOU, my friend, for the rest of my life. Thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for letting me know you. I will always love you.

"And I bless the day I met you, and I thank God that He let you sit beside me for a moment that lives on..... And the good news is I'm better for the time we spent together, and the bad news is you're gone."

"Later Gator" (I'll miss that too) Your pal, Amy

P.S.- Becky helped with this letter. She loves you and will miss you dearly too.
