The lady minister who married them at our Optimist Hall did a lovely ceremony for them, including the 3 children, whom she asked to become a loving, patient, caring "blended" family. First Lee's pretty daughter Kathryn, age 6, entered as the Flower girl along with her new brother Cody, age 7, as the Ring Bearer, followed by one of Lee's sisters, the Maid-Of-Honour. Then the bride's son Cameron, age 9, ushered her proudly up the center of the hall to stand beneath the arch of white, lavender, and purple balloons. The wedding vows, written by our children were very beautiful and moving. They found ideas for these and the invitation wording on the Net. Everyone enjoyed a great time at the wedding, which featured lots of 50s/60s music, good food, fun, and fellowship. You will see highlight pictures of the event at the link below.
