Hello! Welcome to Pugland's Home page.

I am Shadow Monster, a 7 year old Pug, and this is my little brother, Little Rascal, 6 months younger. We now have a new little brother too, Buffett. He's about 3 years younger than me. My mommy and Daddy love us so much that they decided to dedicate an entire web page to us. Hope you stick around and learn a little more about us Pugs. This page is constantly being updated and added to by our mommy, who is just learning about all this web page stuff, so bear with us.

Shadow Monster Hemhauser

Shadow Monster is the biggest lap-puppy you could ever imagine. He is incredibly sweet and friendly. He was born on March 25, 1997 and now weights 35 lbs. He loves to go for long walks and especially enjoys the beach. He hangs out at Island Beach State Park in New Jersey. Shadow is also a card-carrying member of the Central Park Pug Pals Club which meets every Saturday and Sunday afternoon in Central Park (near the Alice in Wonderland Statue). His favorite toy is a stuffed white tiger named "Dude" which he sleeps with at night. We can always tell when it's time to go to sleep, because he runs and gets Dude from the bed. Shadow usually falls asleep with his mouth on Dude and it is the only toy that he will not share with his little brother.

Little Rascal Hemhauser

Little Rascal is a very active puppy. He was born on September 4, 1997. He loves to bark and tries to chase cars. Rascal is a constant licker and kisser. Rascal won the pug kissing contest at the annual Delaware Valley Pug Club Picnic in Freehold, NJ on June 21, 1998. He also loves the beach and going for walks. Rascal's favorite hobby is chasing his ball around in the yard. His ball is twice his size and he just sticks his head down real low and pushes it around in circles (until it gets stuck in the bushes and then mommy has to help). It is really hilarious to see! Rascal also loves to lay in our bay window and bark at anyone and anything that goes by outside. If there is a squirel or a cat outside, look out, because Rascal tries to break his way through the window. He also enjoys "howling" along with the fire whistle nearby.

Buffett Boy Hemhauser

Buffet Boy is the newest edition to the family. Buffett was born on February 9, 2000 and came to us in July 2000 as a rescue. He was the cutest little thing, and how could we resist him. Buffett had pneumonia as a puppy and was supposed to be "put down". He was nursed back to health by a friend, who brought him to us for a home. Currently, he is a healthy, crazy little puppy dog.
