"Take My Breath Away"

I lay awake each night
with your image
that will never fade.
I close my eyes
and feel your touch.
It takes my breath away.

The years have slowly drifted
and time has healed my pain.
But deep within this
heart of mine.
a part of you remains.

These memories that linger
of a dream of yesterday.
What happen to the moments
when you'd take my breath away?

I can hear your word's of passion,
whisper softly in my ear.
I cling unto my pillow,
your voice I long to hear.

You touch my heart
with ecstasy
and promise that you'll stay.
You hold me in your arms so tight
and take my breath away.

We travel to many places
that only you and I can go.
We move throughout this ecstasy
like rivers we do flow.

As I pull the coldness over me
I want to feel you against my skin.
This desire that's in side of me
takes my breath away again.

But in this place of darkness
where nights take place of day.
You set my heart and soul afire
and take my Breath away.
