"Treasured Moments"

Treasured moments of
childhood hugs.
Warm in her arms like a
bug in a rug.
Remembering her touch
and missing her much.
I treasure the moments
of childhood hugs.

The touch of her hands
when bathing me clean
The sparkle in her eyes,
oh how they gleamed.
I remember the love
in her eyes when she smiled
I treasure the moments
when I was a child.

The scent of her hair,
the softness of her skin.
When she'd hold out her arms
and tell me to climb in.
I'd cuddle beside her
and snuggle up close.
A kiss on my nose,
then she'd tickle my toes.

This Mother so special
and held deep within.
She molded me into
the image that I'am.
These are the treasures
I cherish so much.
The childhood moments
of childhood hugs.
