Celebrate Harvest
NOT
halloween!!

Mark 4:28-29 - For the earth yields crops by itself;
first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in
the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts
in the sickle, because the harvest has come.

I believe that as Christians we should not be celebrating
halloween. When I was not a Christian I did not know any
better and accepted halloween as a fun time and that no harm
was being done just because my family participated in it.
But As I have grown in my relationship with the Lord I have
come to the realization that He does not want us to
participate in the ways of the devil.
I think that halloween was an evil holiday from the beginning.
With evil practices. I think that we can still allow our
children to have fun but to celebrate...

THE HARVEST!!

As Christians couldn't we just change halloween parties to...

HARVEST PARTIES!!

There are many non-Christians that will not understand the
Christian way of thinking because

~they are blind to the ways of the Lord~

Hosea 14:9 - Who is wise? Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the LORD
are right; the righteous walk in them. But the transgressors
stumble in them.

I for one would never want children to be deprived of fun for
they are only children for such a short period of time.
I have read many articles that state the Christians are
responsible for the celebration of halloween from back during
the pagan times of the church.
If that be so...than I believe it is time for...

TRUE
CHRISTIANS

to make the change from the practice of pagan ways to the
practice of the Lord's ways!!
If you are a Christian in mind, spirit and heart than you
will help me in speading the word that Christian families
will no longer participate in halloween.
We will have a celebration of

THE HARVEST OF THE LORD!!

Whenever anyone brings up halloween just explain to them
that you are a Christian and celebrate the

HARVEST not halloween.

Matt. 9:38 - Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest, to
send out labourers into His harvest.
