The Golfing Story

Jesus, Moses and an old man were out playing golf.

Moses was the first to tee off over a large pond.

He hit the ball and just as the ball was ready to hit the water,

the waters parted, the ball dropped onto dry ground and rolled

onto the green several feet from the pin.

Jesus was next up and hit the ball, but the ball also dropped

towards the lake. As it hit the lake it bounced and skimmed

across the top of the water, rolling onto the green and

stopped within a foot of the pin.

The old man was up next. He hit the ball with all

his might but the ball soared into the air and dropped right

down into the lake. The 3 stood there looking at the lake.

Just then a big, green frog surfaced with the golf ball in his

mouth. No sooner had he surfaced when a large eagle swooped

from the sky grabbing the frog, golf ball and all. As the

eagle soared into the air with his catch, the frog wiggled and

squirmed and dropped the golf ball.

Down, down the ball went.

Then “kerplunk” right into the cup!

As the 3 wandered toward the pin, Moses turned to Jesus and said,

“And that is exactly why I don’t like golfing

with your old man!!”
