Welcome to the DEAL ISLAND HOME PAGE. We are considered Home of the SKIPJACKS. Deal Island, Maryland is a small island located on the southern tip of the Delmarva Peninsula. The island itself, is about 3 miles long and it consists of 3 main communities. Deal Island, Wenona, and Chance It's residence population is mainly of commercial waterman. Crab Shedding Shanty's line the islands shoreline. The two main sources of income are Crabbing and Oystering. We welcome your visit to our website as well as the Island.
