        About Me...

        I am married to a really wonderful guy, Bob. We were married on December 11, 1982. We just celebrated our 20th anniversary.

        We have two wonderful kids. Kate is 16 and Zachary is 13.
        My mother always told me you haven't really experienced motherhood until you've had a boy and a girl. I think she definitely knew what she was talking about. (Don't mothers generally?) It has been a real experience raising the kids. I just wish I'd have gotten the owner's manual when they were born!!



        I am a special education teacher's aide at our local school. This year I am working with grades 8-12. I have worked in many different classes over the six years I've been at the school, the kindergarten classroom, the high school level and the middle school level. I have worked in classes such as Computer Lit, keyboarding, and art.


        I enjoy spending time with my family; Zachary is the captain of the 8th grade basketball team, and Kate is a varsity cheerleader and is on the varsity volleyball team.
        I enjoy reading; some of my favorite authors are Barbra Delinsky, Sandra Brown, LaVyrle Spencer, Stephen King, and John Grisham.


        I've been on the inter-net since August 1996, and I have become addicted! I enjoy surfing the net, building homepages, and designing graphics.


        I don't spend as much time on crafts since the computer came along, but I like cross stitching and crotcheting.


        This past summer I began taking classes at the local junior college. I am working towards my teaching degree and will specialize in special education. I am proud to say that I made the Dean's List for the fall semester.
