"Home On The Range"

Psalm 113:1-4

Praise ye the LORD.
Praise, O ye servants of the LORD,
praise the name of the LORD

Blessed be the name of the LORD
from this time forth and for evermore.

From the rising of the sun
unto the going down of the same
the LORD`S name is to be praised.

The LORD is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens.

Welcome
To The State Of Kansas

U.S.A. Kansas Kansas

Our family moved to Kansas in January of 1980. My husband and I grew up in Northern Pennsylvania, where there are many mountains and trees. The only things that we knew about Kansas was that it was FLAT and had tornadoes and that Dorothy and Toto of "Wizard Of Oz" fame lived there. Now that we have lived here all these years, we have come to love the state of Kansas. We have found that Kansas may be FLAT but there is beauty in the land.

Here in Kansas you will find spectacular sunsets that fill the sky, rolling prairie hills that disappear in far horizons, and fields of grain that form a bountiful harvest.

Giant herds of the state animal, the American Buffalo, used to cover the Kansas prairies; now only some 300 are found in reserves and private ranches.

Kansas was the first state to harvest wheat and continues to be the leader in wheat production.
