CRITTERS

"IF ALL THE BEASTS WERE GONE, MEN WOULD DIE FROM A GREAT LONELINESS OF SPIRIT, FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS TO THE BEASTS ALSO HAPPENS TO THE MAN. ALL THINGS ARE CONNECTED, WHATEVER BEFALLS THE EARTH BEFALLS THE SONS OF THE EARTH."
Chief Seattle Of The Suwamish Tribe in a letter to President Franklin Pierce in 1855.

CRITTERS

updated 06/25/00

Hello and welcome. As you can already tell I like "All God's Creatures Great and Small" (be sure to read James Herriot's books.) Animals have always been a great part of my life. They give a lot of pleasure, love and enjoyment to many many people. The picture you see is of three wild tom turkeys that visited my bird feeders (I am an avid birder). Well actually the hens were interested in eating and the toms were struttng their stuff. This was picture was taken from my living room window. Of course we also have horses, cats, dogs and a various assortment of other creatures that pass through our lives.
These are links that I have found interesting. Enjoy!

Watching wild birds is a special pleasure that I have. We live in a great birding area in Southern Oregon. Through the feeders and nesting boxes, I have attracted many types of birds from the tiny hummingbird to wild turkeys. Here is one of the birds that vsits me early in the morning. I hope you enjoy these informational links.
