My Family Page
On this page I am going to attempt to let you know a little about my family.
That is my family outside of me and Ryan. I also include on this page the people who I consider a big part of my family!! The way I see things we are all pieces in one big puzzle and when one is missing nothing and no one can ever take it's place but the puzzle can always get bigger.
My Parents
My Mom and Dad are both originally from Massachusetts. Ryan and I currently live with my Mom. My Dad passed away in March of 95 and although we are all still dealing with our loss we know he is very happy to be HOME with Jesus. In September of 94 my Dad was ordained a Deacon in the Permanent Deaconate for the Archdioses of Washington D.C. The time he spent in the diaconate was the happiest time of his life and we were all extremely proud of him. My Mom will be retiring from her current position on January 1st, 1997. She is going to start the New Year off right!!! She keeps making lots of plans to do things she has always wanted to do. Although she has not lived in Massachusetts for over 33 years she still has a Bostonian/New England accent and my sisters and I always tease her about it!!!
My Sisters
I am the oldest of 4 girls and I have 3 sisters ranging in age from 31 to 23. My sister Kathi is next after me and she is married to a great guy named Shawn. They have 2 beautiful children...Shannon, 2, and Jeremy, almost 5 months. They live in Woodbridge, Va and Ryan and I go and visit them often on the weekend. They are on-line sporadically and I hope to get them to get on-line on a more permanent basis soon!! Next in line is my sister Cindy. Her hubby's name is Matt and they have 3 beautiful children...Jennifer, 9, Matthew, 6, and Dylan, 1. They recently moved to Norfolk, Va and Ryan and I hope to visit them soon. He really misses them though because he grew up with them and has seen them practically every day since he was born!! Finally there is my youngest sister Debi, who has no children yet and every time she has all the kids for any length of time decides she will NEVER have any!!*LOL* She is currently working full-time as a teller and really loves her job and the people who come into her place of work. She has a beautiful singing voice and has kept Ryan interested in music from the time he was a baby!!
Our Extended Family
We are very fortunate to have some really great friends who are more family than friends. Liz and Joe are not only good friends but they are also Ryans Godparents. Liz and Joe have 2 beautiful children...Michelle, 12, and Joey, 4. Ryan calls them his Godbrother and Godsister. I have watched Michelle grow from a teeny little baby to a beautiful young woman and she will always be a big part of my life (that is if she will let me seeing as how she IS entering those lovely teenage years!!!*G*) and Joey reminds me a lot of Ryan at that age. Ryan and I are real good at inviting ourselves to their house during the summer to swim in their pool!!! By the way, did I also mention that Liz is my boss?? They are a very important part of my family and I am so glad that God brought them into our lives!!! I love Lizzies Tacos too!!! I love you all more than you will ever know!!!!Thanks for being there for me and Ryan!!!
As I'm sure you have already figured out I also consider Andrea and her kids a big part of my family. They live in Chicago now and when they moved in August I never knew how much I was going to miss them. We had so much fun playing in the snow last winter and we had lots of fun in Chicago when we went to visit them. I love babysitting her kids and spending as much time with them as I can. They are really great kids who mean a lot to me!!!
