Service Projects

As an on going project we collect aluminum cans for recycling.

We went Christmas Caroling and collected food for our local food bank. We filled a large wagon with donations and the people we visited were very glad to have us come sing for them!

At a local Retirement Center we had a Christmas Cookies and Caroling Social. We sang Christmas songs, served the residents punch and cookies and decorated their Christmas tree with our hand-made ornaments. We hope to visit with those nice folks again soon.

Our troop has adopted a needy family for Christmas. We donated food, clothing, toys and household items. We hope our gifts made Christmas a little brighter for them.

On the Girl Scout Sabbath we will be planting flowers and landscaping at Oakhill Methodist Church, they have been very generous with us by letting us hold our weekly meetings there.
