Mark H. Robinson's Official Homepage

Family, Kids, Homes, Politics, Religion, etc.

Welcome to my experiment in webbing. The purpose of this page is to give me a forum for my ideas. I hope you'll find them interesting and drop by often. Also, I intend to find the most useful and interesting links to the following areas:

Me & My Family: Okay, this one is just to give you an idea of who I am and perhaps why I feel the way I do. My family is very important to me, and I feel all of the other areas that I cover on the these pages have an effect on families, who we are, and the opportunities available to us. Also look for information on and links to my hometown, family members, friends, etc.
Our Hometown: This is a pretty good jumping-off place for links to the Provo/Orem area and Utah in general (even if I do say so myself). Find out about our state, Utah County and its' communities, schools, local events, media, sports, businesses and politicians. Come over and make yourself comfortable. And if you want to stay, visit my award-winning real estate page.
Kids: I have a few links to put here--great sites for kids to participate in and explore. Also, I'd like to eventually include resources for parents. We are home schoolers for many reasons, some of which are explained in the first section, so many of these links will be educational in nature.
Politics: Politics, or the government, including our representatives, the courts, bureaucratic agencies, and even the media have a daily effect on our lives. Too often these effects are intrusive and detrimental to our freedoms. Included here are some of my political views and ideas. Also included are some great links to conservative sites of interest on the web. I may even rank the sites and eventually add sites I may not agree with (with explanations on why they're included). This will probably be one of the more active area of my pages, so stop here often. I'll welcome constructive and well thought out comment on anything I may include here. Once I figure out how to do it, I may even include a guest forum for anyone who drops in (with the right to remove or delete anything that is trivial or offensive).
Religion: Religion is an area that effects my views in many areas and also effects my family's daily life. Included here will be thoughts and links on my own religion, as well as links to religious sites in general. Hopefully this will be an area that can enrich your own life as well.
Odds 'n Ends: Here I may include links to other sites that interest me. From the different to the bizarre, from entertainment to comedy, it'll be open to most anything, as long as it's not offensive. Presently it just includes credits, such as they are.

If you have suggestions on links to related sites on any of the above topics, feel free to let me know. Don't be surprised to find alot of opinion expressed on these pages. Since some of the areas are under construction, look below for some of the top links to places around the web.

Links to Other Sites on the Web:

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The official homepage of the "Mormon" church. If you're searching for spiritual insights or direction, this is a good place to start.
The Cato Institute. Perhaps the best conservative page on the internet. Lots of editorials, thoughts, and links.
The Heritage Foundation. Another great conservative page, also sponsor of The Educational Excellence Network.
The Hudson Institute. Another conservative homepage.
The Deseret News. My local newspaper, which I think is the best newspaper on the net. Be sure to try out their archive search feature if you're looking for info on a news event. PointCom top 5%
The LDS Dutch-speaking missions. I went on a mission for my church to The Netherlands. Check here to find out more about the mission in general (although not my personal experiences there).
