ACTING A SCENE

Walaa Al Qaraleh and Heba Al Masri from Kawla Bent Al Azwar School acted the following scene to consolidate their understanding of both tenses:

We’ve repaired the car

Laila: you’re covered with oil. What have you been doing?

Adel: well, Ahmad`s cousin Ali has bought an old car, and it has been making strange noises, so we have been helping him to repair it. Ahmad and I have been working on it for hours. We’ve just finished. We’ve cleaned all the parts. The engine looks new.

Laila: But Adel, you have never repaired a car before…

Adel: It’s easy. And look, I’ve found all these extra screws.
