I am a student in the Fall 2008 Concepts For a Digital World, (CFADW), course at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  I am enrolled in Graphic Design G102 Program.
I am taking the CFADW course to enhance my knowledge about computers since graphic design is going towards digital, I think it would be beneficial to know how technology would affect and influence the way graphic designers are able to communicate, such as flexibility of online conferencing, file transfers, emails etc.

I am interested in Information Technology because technology is intertwined with everyday life, I depend on it and can't live without it. The specific information technologies I'm interested in are the internet, ipods & podcasting, computers.

My present knowledge with computers is average, I'm more of a software person than hardware, and I definitely am not a computer programmer, I found that out during high school when I took a programming course, and it was quite the challenge. However, I can use the computer and any design related software to be able to create my work for digital or print, I also use the computer for photography purposes or any other design related work.
