Bert the Car is a pretty purple car that loves to travel.
One day he took a long trip to the forest. Bert saw big trees,
beautiful birds, butterflies and green grass. The best thing to
Bert the Car was the boys and girls playing and laughing. When it was
time to leave Bert the Car thought he had had the most wonderful day
in the forest.
Bert the Car loved being a car but wondered what it would
be like to be a boy. One night in his dreams he became a boy.
In the morning instead of driving boys and girls to school, Bert had
to walk to school. At William Lehman school he went to classes and
enjoyed learning new things. It was such a wonderful dream. When
Bert awoke from his dream he was glad he was himself again. It was
fun dreaming he was someone else, but it is always best just to be
yourself.
