Hello Everyone!
I am 12 years old and I have something to say. I have worked very hard on my web site. I try to update it often. I am an award winning site, as you can see from all my awards on my award pages. One of the awards I am most proud of, I am definately proud of them all, is my "Enchanted Forest Featured Page Award" Well, according to Geocities, I can keep my award, but there is no longer a Featured Page award given out and we are not listed on the front page of our neighborhoods anymore. We have something new called, "The Best of Geocities".
You will see at the top of most of my pages is a big Geoguide. You will see where it says "Rank My Site" If you click on "Rank My Site" you will see another thing come up and you can then click "yes" or "no" to the question, "Do you like this person's web page?" Obviously we are now in a HUGE competition with all of Geocities Pages, which includes adult's pages, which we are suppose to compete with now. What happened to the Enchanted Forest BY and FOR KIDS?? It is no longer, it's gone and all of Heartland's Adults are now on our front page of the Enchanted Forest.
Well I think this really stinks Geocities!! Now my site is no where to be found. I have looked and looked and looked, and all of us kids are competing with all the adults. On the Geo Avenues, for pets it is mostly everyone from Heartland. I am very disappointed in Geocities right now, and I am sad, because I am no longer listed anywhere. I cannot find my pages. If you other kids that were featured in Geocities try to find your pages I will bet that you have had as much trouble as me.
The Enchanted Forest Community Leaders have kept a list of our Featured Pages which you can get to by clicking that graphic above. If you are a Featured Page take that graphic if you want or make your own and link it to "http://www.oocities.org/EnchantedForest/1004/page8.html" This Link is no longer Available, it was taken down. Now there is no where where all of us are listed.
