I contacted Move-On about my work in renewable energy specifically the Journey by Horseback [and foot] for Peace & Photovoltaics 2004 [ www.oocities.org/JOURNEY2004MEDIA2 and www.oocities.org/JOURNEYHORSEPEACEBIPV2004] and the criminal fraud being perpetuated by Georgetown University since the 30,000 SF building-integrated photovoltaic [BI-PV] roof was installed on the Intercultural Center in 1984. When it is mentioned Georgetown University has been telling people in their tours that the solar roof doesn't work allegedly because they had it painted over claiming it made planes crash when they flew over when it was generating electricity. The truth is that the solar roof has been generating over $45,000 of electricity a year since it was installed. With the 16% increase in electric rates announced by Pepco for Spring 2004 that translates to $57,000 of electricity a year. That is with 4.5 sun hours a day 250 days a year. In Southern California, it would generate over $70,000 of electricity with 5-6 sun hours a day 300-325 days a year. The fraud they have committed and are committing if convicted with the same vigor as Martha Stewart would put numerous Georgetown University faculty, staff and students in prison for many years. Billions of dollars of energy industry deployment and security trade are being misdirected by this fraud at Georgetown University.
President Bush apologized in a press conference at the White House to the Prince of Jordon for the confessed police abuse against Iraqi prisoners. Prince Jordon is a graduate of Georgetown University. He and his colleagues at Georgetown University need to apologize to the American people for the criminal fraud being perpetuated by Georgetown University regarding the effectiveness of the BI-PV solar roof demonstration installed on the Intercultural Center by Hughes Aircraft in 1984. This is a taxpayer funded demonstration and where Georgetown University has been extremely fraudulent and negligent in their care of the roof. They have falsified reports declaring the output of the solar array by letting trees shadow the array and thus altering its potential. President Bush installed three solar systems on the White House in 2002 for security reasons, but there is not one mention of this in the news or at Move-On.
Are you just another highly paid 'Boiling Point' organization for British Petroleum to confuse and exacerbate the public while dramatically misusing American's trust and resources? There is ample room for criticism against both partisan persuasions. Neither are doing their job to transform the energy industry peacefully and constructively and they won't without significant and well-organized official consumer consensus.
I don't like the tone of the hype you are involved in as it tends to traumatize, confuse and cloud the real issues and avenues to viable energy industry transformation. The partisan bantering takes attention away from the critical truth that no one is controlling the energy industry because it is out of control and will become increasingly volatile until we recognize the true nature of the problem and begin to address it. Madeline Albright has her office in the Georgetown University Intercultural Center that has the 30,000 SF solar roof on it; however she never mentions it in any of her alleged peace negotiations. Paul Maycock, the Secretary of Energy for President Carter insists photovoltaics is not affordable and that President Reagan is the primary culprit suppressing solar energy. However, he refuses to accept and publicize the real fact that Amoco Oil took over the Solarex Corporation the year the Georgetown University Intercultural Center roof was completed and that Amoco-Enron-British Petroleum have been fraudulently suing other companies out of business using Solarex patents.
Join us for the 4th of July celebration with the goal to re-establish democracy in this nation of the people, by the people and for the people. This week I am in Gettysburg, PA where the deciding battle of the Civil War was fought. There were more casualties in this war than in World War II. What good is the fight for civil rights of any race where oil cartels and utilities dictate the rights of all citizens in this nation? The electric wires overhead whine and glare at us from the horizon reminding us on a daily basis of our shortcomings as we have fallen far short of our goal to establish and maintain a democratic nation. Democracy is ever in its infancy. Partisan politics will never be the deciding factor in a democratic nation. The people will be the deciding factor. On the 4th of July we will ride from the first electric plant in the world and ferry across to Manhattan to dedicate the eleven districts of Manhattan as Neighborhood Energy Watch Solution Groups or N.E.W.S. Groups. Will there be one or two, maybe one hundred or will there be 1,000 or 100,000 American citizens there to wave their American flags and flags of the 30,000 SF BI-PV solar roof on the Intercultural Center for its 20th Anniversary. Let's have the million man march bring their wives and children along with a million more of every race to wave this flag of energy industry democracy. It is not they, it is us. And, each one of you that do not take up these flags, but sit idly by blaming this President or that President has no real interest in true democracy; but only an interest in perpetuating an oppressive dictatorship bereft of the will and participation of the people of a democratic nation.
Make your vote count! Be at Ground Zero or send a friend for the 4th of July celebration for Peace and Photovoltaics!!! Any assistance and serious suggestions are most welcome. You can join the Journey by Horseback and by foot at any part of the Journey; in whatever constructive manner you may be willing and able to. Spend more money campaigning to make a difference in the world instead of a double bind for President.
Democracy is ever in its infancy. The election of a Presidential candidate is only the icing on the cake of a truly democratic government of the people, for the people and by the people. The atrocities of energy war, disgraceful abusive oppression of renewable energy companies-proponents independent of oil cartel interests and energy industry crime have been rampart in the last quarter of a century in both administrations. 99.5% of the electricity consumed by Americans from 1974 to 1994 was generated by remote site fossil, nuclear and large hydro. All other fuels only increased 0.1% during that time. Coal consumption doubled during the first thirty years of Earth Day to over 55% of the nation's electricity supply. Thereby, I have established 'Early Earth Week . . . before it's too late!!! from March 1-7' every year wherein consumers can join together to learn more about achieving official consumer consensus in energy agency proceedings and how to establish their own Neighborhood Energy Watch Solution Groups or N.E.W.S. Groups.
What I want to know is "WHERE ARE YOU TODAY!!!" If you have ears to hear and eyes to discern; speak with me about these pressing issues and determine how you can become involved in making the 4th of July celebration memorable and MOVING for all Americans and every democratic heart that beats around the world. I need two horses. One will be a saddled white horse representing the sacrifices and casualties of the attempt to bring building-integrated photovoltaics [BI-PV] into the mainstream market the past twenty years and it also represents the unseen, but very obvious Beauty of the Georgetown University Intercultural Center BI-PV roof for its 20th Anniversary. I will ride another horse carrying a flag pole with two flags. One with the American flag and one with the Georgetown University Intercultural Center. When I ride with a mounted police escort into Ground Zero, I envision many people there waving a hand held American flag in one hand and a flag of the Georgetown University Intercultural Center BI-PV solar roof in the other hand. BI-PV is a truly democratic energy technology. Isn't it time we started making Beautiful Electricity, together. If you want a better President. Be a better nation, today! Are you a democratic American, or not?
