Championship;
- 1st place - Pacific Northwest Amateur Championship;
- 1st place - CIF Southern Section Championship
(individual);

- Played in the Johnny Walker Asian Classic (THAILAND);
- Played in the following PGA Tour events: Nestle Invite in
Orlando, FL, Buick Classic in Westminster, NY, and

- Orange County League Most Valuable Player (4th time);
- Entered Stanford University in Fall of '94;
- 1st place - Wm. Tucker Invitational at Albuquerque (first
collegiate event he ever entered)

Versailles, France - led his team to an 11-stroke team
victory by shooting rounds of 71-75-67-72=285 (3-under
par);
- Named GolfWorld's "Man of the Year".
AGE 19
- 1st place - U.S. Amatuer (Defended his title!)
- Golf's Amateur Representative for the Sullivan Award
(Indianapolis in Feb., '95);
- Finished tied for 41st in the '95 Masters in Augusta (his
first pro major) with scores of 72-72-77-72=293 (was only
amateur to make the cut) in April, '95;
- Finished tied for 5th at the NCAA Championships in
Columbus, Ohio with scores of 73-72-70-71=286, helping
his Stanford team to a 5th-place finish;
- Withdrew from U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills on Long
Island in June because of a left wrist injury after five
holes of the second round (shot first round 76);
- Finished tied for 67th at the British Open at St.
Andrews, Scotland in July with scores of 74-71-72-78=295;
- Competed for U.S. Team in Walker Cup in Porthcawl, Wales
Sept. 9-10;
- Named '95 Pac-10 Player of the Year;
- Named First Team All-American following '95 season;
- Named Stanford's '95 Male Freshman of the Year (all
sports);
- Named Preseason First Team All-American for '95-'96 by
GolfWeek Magazine.
AGE 20
- 1st place -U.S. Amatuer (3rd straight win!)
- Tiger Woods became a professional golfer (August 28,
1996)
- Finished tied for 60th in the '96 GMO. Made hole-in-one
on 14th on final today.
