The REAL drinkers guide to beer.

Hiya folks, welcome to my beer review page! Now if you're actually reading this you most likely came here via a link from my esteemed fellow problem drinker and friend John's Beer Page. If by some quirk of fate or misspelled URLs, you came here by any other means I highly recommend you visit his site. Not only will you probably find his opinions more sane than mine, but he's a much better coder than I am. So his site is much prettier to look at.

Now you might notice that my opinions and kinds of beer covered are gonna vary widely from anything you'll find on the aformentioned beer page. While John is concerned with high quality beers like Pilsner Erquell down to the mid range beers like Red Dog, my tastes are a bit different. I've spent the few years of my life consuming vast quantities of cheap american beer. I've tried all of the national brands of cheap beer and many of the even lower priced regional ones.

Now you can only drink beer for so long until you're forced to start to try upscale beers. And for the record I love all ty pes of beer. I'll list my favorite micro-brews and other high class beers at the end. But I've found that such beverages are widely reviewed. The cheap beers are either ignored or scorned by critics. Well I say fuck the critics! Alot of people drink cheap beer so there should be an honest review of what is good, what is bad, and what is horrendous. So here goes:

The cheap, the bad, and the ugly:

These are the beers at the bottom end of the price scale. One quick warning, drinking cheap beer is like having an extremely unstable relationship with a supermodel. Some nights there's nothing in the world you want more. Other days the mere sight of it can make you want to vomit.
