Making Sense of Casualisation

Ê

Getting a handle on the spread of casualised work, as well as the possibilities and pitfalls it holds for working class autonomy, are some of our main preoccupations at present.

We are hoping to produce a pamphlet later in 1997 which builds upon our experiences and those of friends and acquaintances, along with a critical look both at some of the relevant literature, and organising efforts elsewhere.

In the meantime, here is a small collection of materials we think are of interest:

Dave Graham -- MERSEY DOCKS DISPUTE (UK)

Anne Gray -- FLEXIBILISATION OF LABOUR AND THE ATTACK ON WORKERS' LIVING STANDARDS

Anne Gray -- POSTSCRIPT February 1997

Diego Negri -- CASUALISATION OF LABOUR AND WORKERS' RIGHTS

"Morion" Self-Managed Social Centre (Venice) -- FLEXIBILITY
