The patch when we were the "Department of Public Safety":






This Christmas decoration was made by the husband and wife team of
Trooper Alton Goodwin and Trooper Faith Goodwin.


The pictures below were taken from the
"Florida Highway Patrol 60th Anniversary Yearbook."
Please excuse the quality of the pictures and the slight tilting.
The more I worked on the pictures, the worse they became. So, these are untouched scans.
The console on the far right was in use throughout the state until the middle 70's.
The radio console in the middle looks much like the
intercity radio console in Fort Lauderdale when I started in 1971.
