Final Hour.

The Messenger has no power over any good or harm to himself, except

as Allah Will.

He is but a Warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith. The knowledge of the final Hour belongs to Allah swt. , He alone has the authority to announce when it will occur.

The Unbelievers will not feel secure from the comings against them of the covering veil of the wrath of God, or of the coming against them of the final Hour, all of a sudden while they perceive not?

“They ask thee about the (final) Hour: When will be its appointed time? Say: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone),

None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only all of a sudden will it come to you. They ask thee as if thou wert eager to search thereof.

Say: The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not”. (Al A’raf: 187). Bandung, 8 Rabi’ul Akhir 1428 H.

The Women of the Esteemed Civilization.

“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments, except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.” (An Nur: 31).

They are on true guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper. They believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer,

and spend out of what Allah has provided for them. And in their hearts have the assurance of the Hereafter. To those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether be warned or not. God hath set a seal on their hearts. Bandung, 11 Rabi’ul Akhir 1428 H.

Patience, Firmness and Self Control.

“Those who say: ‘Our Lord! we have indeed believed, forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire;”

“Those who show patience, firmness and self control; who are true (in word and deed); who worship devoutly; who spend (in the way of Allah); and who pray for forgiveness in the early hours of the morning”. (Al Imran: 16 – 17).

They will get glad tidings of things far better than the possessions of this world’s life,

In nearness to Allah is the best of the goals to return to; For the righteous are Gardens in nearness to their Lord, with rivers flowing beneath,

Therein is their eternal home, with Companions pure and holy; and the good pleasure of Allah; For in Allah’s sight are all His servants. Those who reject Faith, neither their possessions nor their numerous progeny will avail them aught against Allah; they are themselves but fuel for the Fire.
