• June 11, 1999: Updated the pages for Big Bill Broonzy, Champion Jack Dupree, Jazz Gillum, Lightnin' Hopkins with some new songs. Fixed some errors on the links page and Robert Plunkett's page.

• December 30, 1998: New pages for Blind Boy Fuller, Big Al Dupree, Josie Miles and Robert Plunkett.

• July 6, 1998: First of all a big THANK YOU to all of you for your encouraging comments on the Guestbook page. It gives me real motivation to expand and improve this site. It really does!

  That said, I know it's a shame I haven't updated it since such a long time. But I have not been idle all that time either. I've moved the lyrics to a little database from where I can generate the HTML files with one click... And there are many more songs, too, both old and new, so go ahead and browse around...

  Geocities have given us more room to play with (thank you oh kind and generous Geocities boss people), so I'll take advantage of that to add more RealAudio samples as well as pictures to many of the artists' pages (songs with RealAudio excerpts are marked in the artist or title index). See, for example, Big Bill Broonzy's and Champion Jack Dupree's pages.

  I'm also starting to add links to other sites with biographical information for the artists. Right now they all point to the All-Music Guide - a great site for just browsing around - but there will be others in the near future.

• Other changes are more than six months old so they don't exactly qualify as "new"! :-)
