Close-up of Woodro

Diary
January, 1998

Jan. 1, 1998 -

Cooked The Woodro the best roast our money could buy. He spit it out - but Chip and Raubyn know how to get tha food thingies down tha hatch. Day spent lazin' 'round watchin' Bowl games. Looking foward to tomorrow night's Orange Bowl. The Woodro hopes that the Tennessee VOLs shuck-up-on the ole Nebraska Cornhuskers! It will also be Mama Raubyn and Papa Chip's 12th Wedding Anniversary. He promises to eat for them during the candle-lit dinner.

Jan. 2, 1998 -

The Woodro kept his promise and ate his dinner for our Anniversary. What a sweet boy. Sure would have been a better celebration if The VOLs had won The Orange Bowl though. What an embarrassing game! But The Woodro didn't let it get him down. He slept soundly.

Jan. 5, 1998 -

The Woodro passed away today at 2:00pm. His ashes will be scattered at a special place in Key West on Feb. 11, 1998. Please join us in honoring his ~ Memory

Jan. 31, 1998 -

We will say that it is kinda "spooky" being here, adding another entry to Woodro's diary after so much time has passed since his death. But we felt one more entry would give this diary some "closure".
This diary will remain online to help others. So many people have contacted us stating that the info. contained here on homeopathy, etc. helps them.
We want to tell the readers something about the day Woodro died. After his death, the Vet found another tumor. It was a softball sized tumor attached to the lumbar region of his spinal cord. The Vet felt that this was the initial tumor and that the cancer had spread to his lung. Poor dear, sweet Woodro was up against more than we ever knew. But one good note - he died with his favorite toy in his mouth.
After Feb. 16, 1998 Woodro's Memorial page will be linked from our jukebox under the "Lovely Cruise" midi selection.
To you: Resounding thank you's to all who have stood by us during the most painful time of our lives and to all who continue to send their condolences.
To Woodro, we hope you had the time of your life! Love, Mama and Papa
Let's celebrate Woodro's life . . .

Feb. 11, 1998 -

The Woodro's ashes were spread at nine (9) special particular places in Key West on this day. We took a photograph of each place to keep.
Closure ~ for Woodro.

The Woodro's Spirit is waggin' his wittle tail off 'cause The Tennessee Volunteers won the National Championship Fiesta Bowl game on Jan. 4, 1999 :-)
