Evreux
Evreux, ancestral city of the Tassin family of Avoyelles, is on the Iton river, 102 km from Paris.
It is an ancient Gallo-Roman center which treasures signs of an long active and art-loving community, and includes a XIIth century cathedral with XIVth and XVth century stained glass windows.
It also boasts a master work of the Middle Ages, the Shrine of Saint Taurin.
