In keeping with the RebaFAN RedHead Rating System, this album, out of 5
redheads, rates
If you haven't bought it yet, you're really missing!!
Here's some more of our ravings about it...
"How Was I To Know"
I love this song! I have to agree with Trevor, it's the best song
on this CD, although there isn't a bad one. The moment I popped the tape into
the player in my car, this one became my favorite! The chorus is what gets me going!
I love this one!
5 out of 5 (enthusiastic) redheads up!
"The Fear Of Being Alone"
I cannot, in good faith, agree with my "partner in crime" on this one! I love
it because it gives the album the spice it deserves. It's not a traditional
Reba, at all, and I think it sayts something to her fans: although you may
think it does, love doesn't come easy.
4 out of 5 redheads up!
"What If It's You"
I have to say that I like this song. It's a sad one, and ya'll
know by now that the sad ones aren't always my favorites. So much emotion
has been poured into this song that it's hard not to cry when you're listening
to it.
4 out of 5 redheads up!
"I'd Rather Ride Around With You"
Another upbeat song by Reba! Ya'll should know by now that I like
these the best!
5 out of 5 redheads up!
"It Doesn't Matter"
"Nothing matter is you don't love me." They have everything they've
every wanted, but it dpoesn't matter to her because she knows he doesn't love her
anymore. This is one of the songs that I would expect my partner to like.
I like it, too, but I can't say that it's one of my favorites. Don't know if it's
going to grow on me, but I hope it does.
3 out of 5 redheads up!
"State Of Grace"
Considering my job, I can relate to Grace in this song. That's what
Reba tries to do -- put songs on her albums that people can relate to , not the love
em and leave em's that are so common these days. Reba is a revolutionary, and I love
this song! "Attention late night shoppers, two-for-one on broken chains!" Great song!
5 out of 5 redheads up!
"Close To Crazy"
Another great one. It's a sad ballad, but it's great. Love it all the way.
She can't forget him, but starts talking to her memory of him. She reaches for
him in her sleep, and her arms come up empty. Good Lord!! Somewhere close to Patsy Cline!
5 out of 5 redheads up!
"She's Calling It Love"
Puppy love -- what a wonderful feeling. I remember my first, and
this one brings back a lot of memories. She's heading for heartache, but doesn't know it, and the boy's bad news.
That's puppy love for everyone.
4 out of 5 redheads up!
"Just Looking For Him"
She's looking for the right one again. (See a pattern?) I like this one, too.
4 out of 5 redheads up!
"Never Had A Reason To"
She's never had a reason to stay where she lived, or believe in love.
Love just never happened. I like it.
3 out of 5 redheads up!
It's great!! I love it.
Sorry for the lateness of the review, but I promise you that I ran out the morning
it hit the shelves and bought it. I work a different shift that most of you, I'm sure,
and maybe that will help you understand why this is late.
