John 10:2-4,7-11,14,15,27,28.

²The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. ³The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. ⁴When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice .... ⁷Therefore Jesus said again, I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. ⁸AII who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. ⁹ I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. ¹⁰ The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. ¹¹ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep....¹⁴ I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me--¹⁵just as the Father knows me and I know the Father--and I lay down my life for the sheep....²⁷My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, they follow me. ²⁶1 give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.

John 12:47-50

⁴⁷"As for the person who hears my word but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come judge the world, but to save it.' ⁴⁸For I did not speak of my accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to and how to say it. ⁵⁰1 know that his command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say.

John 14:15,21,23,24.

¹⁵1f you love me, you will obey what I command.... ²¹Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father and I too will love him and show myself to him.... ²³Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. ²⁴He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

Hebrews 5:8,9.

⁸AIthough he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered ⁹and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.

1 John 2:3-6.

We know that we have come to know Him if we obey his commands. ⁴The man who says, I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. ⁵But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: ⁶Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

1 John 3:23,24.

And this is his command: to believe name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

I John 5:1-3.

'Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves child as well. ²This is how we know that we love the children of God; by loving God and carrying out his commands. ³This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome.
