Reading "The Star" today and Yb Foo's statement, "If the majority votes are given to PAS, it would be difficult for me to tell the State governent that I represent the Chinese Community.", is a dissappointment. I have always thought that Members of Parliament and State Assemblies are representives of the people of their constituencies, regardless of race, religion or creed.

Let us not have such people any more nor hear such statements anymore.
