This site is dedicated to Verdi's Requiem. It includes The requiem's text in Latin and English, historical background to the Requiem and musical analysis.
This site also includes short samples from the Requiem, in realaudio format. They are not essential to the understanding of the piece but they can be of much help. I used them mainly to help the listener identify important musical ideas, and follow their developement. Some of these realaudio files are quite low in volume, so you are advised to either turn your speakers to the highest volume you can, or just use earphones while listening. This will only enhance your enjoyment and understanding of the piece.
