Vingolf's April blot was held in Maryland, and we organized a community cleanup as we honored the landvaettir. There was great turnout from the local community, and from Maryland Asatru and pagan folks, and with everyone's hard work we were able to collect nearly a ton of trash (mostly broken bottles and aluminum cans) from the forest near a part in Riverdale, MD. The local press came, as well, and pictures were taken that wound up in the local paper (unfortunately, "Asatru" itself was not mentioned in the blurb by the picture, but it was still great to see in print!).
